As an international central securities depository (ICSD) headquartered in Luxembourg, Clearstream Banking S.A. operates the post-trading business – i.e. issuance, settlement and custody – for the Eurobond market and services for securities from over 55 domestic markets worldwide.
Tasks/responsibilities
- Assist in preparation for ongoing topics/projects
- Prepare background analyses, briefings and presentations on policy or regulatory strategy topics
- Undertake capital market, regulation and policy research, amongst others, on new or ongoing regulatory initiatives in Europe and/or on financial market integration world-wide
Qualifications/required skills
- You are enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree programme with a recognized institution focusing on Business, Law or Finance and can provide an internship agreement, OR have graduated with a Bachelor’s degree or similar for no more than 6 months
- You are interested in political and regulatory issues and knowledge of institutions and legislative procedure in the European Union
- You have quick perception, structured working methods and excellent drafting skills
- You are proactive for finding and processing information
- You have a good level of MS- Office applications
- You are fluent in English (written and spoken). German and/or French will be considered as an asset
