In your position, you will provide IT security expertise in support to the business and in line with the key responsibilities:

Tasks/Responsibilities
- Support DBG System Security initiatives (Hardening, Compliance Check, Security Baselines, Reporting and Monitoring of coverage, quality checks of reported results)
- Recommend, implement and document Security processes and for configuration settings for Network Infrastructure devices, Operating Systems, Database, Middleware and Web applications based on official standards (e.g. CIS benchmark).
- Define, test and validate configuration checks with the IT for Network Infrastructure devices, Operating Systems, Database, Middleware and Web applications for rollout and implementation in Symantec CCS.
- Support Security operations for troubleshooting in case of implementation issues with Symantec CCS agents.
- Provide guidance for the deployment of System Infrastructure Security technologies & processes, especially in the area of Distributed Systems and/or Cloud solutions
- Ensure daily operational duties relating to security management in compliance with relevant policies and industry best practices
- Recommend appropriate controls to maintain confidentiality, integrity and availability of systems/services and to fulfil the requirements of regulators
- Provide effective support service for implemented Security controls, potentially including on-call duties; deliver a first-class level of service at all times
- Organise a review of information systems for actual or potential breaches in security according the current threat landscape
- Develop and improve security solutions for system infrastructure and to improve security level for the applications and ensure it fulfil regulatory requirements
- Develop Information Security Guidelines, Processes and Procedures, Baselines in line with DBG Policies and Standards and international standards of quality management.

Qualifications/required skills
Technical Skills:
- A degree in Computer Science or relevant discipline or at least five yearsโ relevant experience in a large-scale online technical operations environment
- Preferably 5-10 years of proven professional experience for operational tasks of Symantec CCS software solutions
- Very good understanding of Apache QPID, RedHat JBoss AM-Q, IBM WebSphere MQ, RedHat JBoss EAP, Oracle WebLogic, WebSphere Application Server, etc.
- Excellent understanding of Linux, Solaris, Windows, z/OS security concepts & threats
- Good understanding of Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MSSQL, DB2 security concepts & threats
- Proven work experience with system hardening including its configuration and administration
- Very good knowledge of systems, middleware & web applications security concepts
- Excellent understanding of Infrastructure, Platform and Application security concepts & threats
- Ability to quickly understand new threats and technical concepts
- Provide guidance for the deployment of System Infrastructure Security technologies & processes, especially in the area of Distributed Systems and/or Cloud solutions
- Recommend appropriate controls to maintain confidentiality, integrity and availability of systems/services and to fulfil the requirements of regulators
- Proven work experience with operational duties relating to security management in compliance with relevant policies and industry best practices
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and a proven documentation methodology
- Basic knowledge of Office365 suite
