The GFF area is responsible for software analysis and development for Clearstream Luxembourg, the leading international central securities depository and Clearstream Banking Frankfurt AG – the leading central depository in Europe. The application landscape supports the business lines for Global Securities Financing and Collateral Management. We operate a broad range of applications and packages on a variety of technologies.
As part of our team, you will participate in securing our collateral management product. Equally, you would be playing a vital role in bringing about our DevOps, automation and Cloud based objectives.
Tasks/responsibilities
- Analysis of business requirements
- Design and development of the Collateral management application(s)
- Software development using Java and various frameworks
- Maintenance and support
Qualifications/required skills
- University degree in Computer Sciences or a comparable education
- You love efficiency, hate manual tasks and look for creative ways to automate
- Practical experience with one or more of the following programming languages:
- JavaEE: experience with some application server is an advantage – Weblogic, jboss, Tomcat
- Java SE: experience with Java 8 would be an advantage, Swing might be useful
- Experience with relational/non-relational database technologies (Oracle, MongoDB), SQL is a must
- Practical experience with DevOps toolchain (Git, Maven, IntelliJ, Eclipse, Jenkins)
- Practical experience with development of Cloud based applications (AWS, Azure, GCP) would be an advantage
- Practical experience with an Agile development methodology would be an advantage
- Financial markets knowledge would be an advantage
- Proficiency in written and spoken English
