Field of activity
Position Management is mainly responsible for the day-to-day realignment activities. In close relation with Euroclear, depositories and transfer agents your main tasks will be the process of transfer of securities between different agents located on different markets. Your role is to ensure all customers domestic deliveries and custody transfer requests are handled on a timely manner, before the closure of different markets deadlines. Service-oriented and competent, you will handle all queries, from both internal and external parties.
Position Management is also actively involved in the portfolio transfer activities between depositories for all types of instruments, including investment funds. Your participation will be required to ensure smooth transition of assets between depositories and/or transfer agents.

 

Tasks/responsibilities

  • Process and monitor bridge realignments between Clearstream and Euroclear depositories
  • Process and monitor domestic realignments between different safekeeping accounts at Clearstream agents
  • Process securities transfers of securities between domestic depositories and/or transfer agents
  • Investigate realignment issues with depositories and agents
  • Analyse and reconcile with Euroclear, depositories and transfer Agents the open items allocated to the team
  • Apply controls and procedure applicable to the unit’s activities

 

Qualifications/required skills

  • University Degree in Business Administration, Finance or in a relevant field
  • Minimum 1 to 2 years of work experience in custody and securities settlement 
  • Knowledge of Investment Funds settlement is an asset
  • Good organisational skills, ability to work on several tasks/projects in parallel
  • Good analytical skills and communication skills (both oral and written)
  • Strong team player in a multicultural and cross-locational environment
  • Willingness to learn and ability to work in a team
  • Fluency in English is mandatory (verbal and written).  French, German or any other language are an advantage
