The Job of a Junior Risk Officer in Luxembourg
Responsibilities of a Junior Risk Officer in Luxembourg are:

Control and analysis of banking, fund or insurance risk-related activities.

Validation and controlling of transactions executed by the trading desk.

Create reports on liquidity & funding risks, control the given limits.

Create reports on Liquidity & funding model assumptions.

Detect errors, communicate with trading desk and ask for correction.

Create reports on Capital at Risk and create Stress Test models.

Create reports on the number of transactions and the traded volume.

Control Basel II-III liquidity & funding risk framework (e.g.: Liquidity Coverage Ratio (LCR), Net Stable Funding Ratio (NSFR), intraday liquidity monitoring)
Profile of a Junior Risk Officer in Luxembourg:

Bachelor or Master Degree in Accountancy, Audit, Economics or another Finance-related Major.

First experience in a portfolio management, fund management or reporting department (e.g.: Treasury, Credit department, Risk Controlling, Financial Controlling, Dealing room, Insurance) is an asset.

Fluency in English and French or German.

First experience with risk tools is a strong asset.

Strong interest in creating risk reports and paying attention to detail, even under time pressure.
