REGIS-TR is a central trade repository for trades and transactions across multiple product classes and jurisdictions. The trade repository is open to financial and non-financial institutions and services all of the major regulatory reporting obligations in Europe. REGIS-TR collects and administers details of trades and transactions reported by its clients to give market participants and regulators an aggregated view of positions in compliance with the appropriate regulations. REGIS-TR is already progressing well towards its goal of becoming a one-stop-shop for regulatory reporting requirements, complementing its core services.
Field of activity
The Sales and Relationship Manager’s objective is to provide premium trade reporting solutions to new and existing customers of REGIS-TR SA and to promote products and services of affiliated entities. With a commitment to serve and a personal dedication to daily tasks, he/she is in charge of the core market services and revenues of REGIS-TR. He/she helps finding solutions to customer requirements while cooperating and interacting with all business-related areas of REGIS-TR and the wider group to ensure that these solutions are sustainable for the company. He/she will represent REGIS-TR to the wider market and participate at industry events, including speaking at conferences and organizing client user groups.
Tasks/responsibilities
- Manage customers and prospects in Italy, France and other European markets
- Manage and cultivate existing relationships with customers, including pricing and contractual negotiations and strategic discussions with senior representatives of these clients on joint business growth opportunities
- Develop business opportunities with existing as well as new customers, different business areas within the customer base, cross-sell products and manage the respective sales funnel
- Manage revenue targets for all allocated customers, ensuring cost containment (staying within the granted cost budget) and achieving net income growth for REGIS-TR
- Analyse and monitor customers’ financial conditions and perform regular KYC checks and activity monitoring, working with compliance and legal department to ensure compliance with company policy and regulatory requirements
- Keep updated and ensure to meet the requirements of being in and working for a regulated entity, REGIS-TR SA, regulated by the ESMA
- Keep abreast of general market updates, developments and competitor’s activities in your markets and beyond
- Support (the Management of) the Company in the definition of the strategy for your markets and beyond
- Support projects within REGIS-TR
- Support and involve the Business Development Manager, Head of Product and the wider dedicated team of REGIS-TR Sales and Relationship Managers in their aim to deliver new and enhanced products offerings
- Represent the team/section/REGIS-TR in internal meetings, working groups as well as (internal as well as client-facing) committees
- Represent REGIS-TR externally, in the market in general and at customer/industry events in particular
Qualifications/required skills
- University degree in Business Administration, Finance or relevant
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in the financial sector ideally in Sales or Business Development
- Strong client facing and presentation skills
- Excellent organisational skills, communication skills, customer and service orientation
- Flexibility for some travel is foreseen for this role
- Proficiency in English and Italian is mandatory. Knowledge of French is an asset
