With more than €14 trillion in assets under custody, Clearstream is one of the world’s largest settlement and custody firms for domestic and international securities. Clearstream ensures that cash and securities are promptly and effectively traded between market participants and that its customers are always notified of the rights and obligations attached to the securities they keep under its custody. Additionally, Clearstream provides services for investment funds, collateral management and securities lending.

 

Field

The Asset Servicing department is responsible for the Custody and Connectivity products of Clearstream/DBAG. The application landscape mostly consists of Web, Java and C++ applications which are running on top of large customer databases. Frontend as well as backend security is a core concern in all applications due to the daily challenges and requirements of the financial sector.

 

Responsibilities 

  • Participate and support the application development activities in Agile and Scrum methodologies
  • Define test scenarios from Business Requirements to automate as much as possible the deliveries
  • Propose improvements to existing processes
  • Maintain and keep policies up to date
  • Support applications in Production

 

Requirements

  • Holder of a university degree in Computer Science or similar
  • We welcome junior candidates with no experience or with limited work experience
  • Ability to work in a team as well as autonomously
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced envirmonement, deliver within deadlines
  • Proficiency in English is mandatory. French and/or German is an asset
