Field of activity
Clearstream as premier provider of settlement services needs to ensure adequate quality and control of service delivery processes and processing performance. Investigation & Incident Mgt performs strong operational controls, supports 2nd line of defence, and co-ordinates business contingency measures.
Tasks/responsibilities
Your main tasks will be to assist in the realisation of tasks in accordance with the respective procedures and controls definition, including:
- Investigate and analyse undue creation or deletion of securities incidents
- Identify and elaborate with impacted business area the measures to be taken to avoid re-occurrence resp. to mitigate risks
- Administration, monitoring and reporting of internal accounts in close co-operation with operational units and Financial Accounting
- Close monitoring of all reconciliation open items (cash, securities, internal accounts) over three months ageing and ensure risk- based provisioning
- Support the incident managers in the fulfilment of their duties as per the Clearstream Crisis Management procedure, follow-up of production incidents
- Support the operational units in the maintenance of their business continuity plans and the conduction of their business continuity tests
- Deliver input to and deliver monthly KPIs, KRIs and various weekly and monthly reporting to business areas and management
- Ensure compliance with Internal Control System, laws and regulations and interact with Audit, Legal, Compliance and Risk Management for all controls related activities, including regulatory reporting.
- Contribute to process alignments for all section related activities and ensure close collaborations with all section teams across all locations
Qualifications/required skills
- University degree in economics, financial markets or business management
- 1 to 2 years of work experience in Operations is an asset but not a must, we also welcome junior profiles
- Experience with Clearstream’s products and services, well developed understanding of business context and operational processes is an asset
- Some practice in the application of process analysis and improvement methods
- Good analytical skills and ability to solve complex problems
- Good communication skills and ability/willingness to build network
- Team spirit in a multicultural and cross-locational environment
- Dedication, flexibility as well as proficiency in MS Office applications round out your profile
- Fluency in English (spoken and written) in mandatory. Knowledge of French and/or German or another language are a plus
