Credit Analyst

VP Bank Group is an internationally positioned private bank. It specialises in asset management services for intermediaries and private individuals. VP Bank is one of the largest banks in the Liechtenstein financial centre. In addition to its main offices in Liechtenstein, VP Bank Group is present in five other locations throughout the world: Switzerland, Luxembourg, British Virgin Islands, Singapore and Hong Kong.

In order to support our growth we are looking for a Credit Analyst (m/f) for our location in Luxembourg.

Your Challenge

• Management of approved credit facilities and maintenance of credit files
• Supervision of payment orders linked to pledged portfolios
• Credit control, implementation of credit related decisions, their terms and conditions as well as eventual credit covenants in the relevant IT systems
• Daily monitoring of credit violations, their reporting and escalation
• Analysis, preparation of loan applications and relevant credit documentation
• Credit reporting to the local management committee and/or credit risk management of the parent company
• Support front-line staff in relation to credit issues
• Preparation of regulatory reporting and support for the annual audit
• Assist other departments within the Bank, not only Private Banking but also Legal & Compliance
• Review of working processes, issuance and update of credit procedures and regulations

Your Profile

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in the described area of responsibility
• Confirmed knowledge in the various credit products, in particular in the mortgage financing process
• Fluent in English, German & French
• Good knowledge of the MS-Office package
• User knowledge of the banking software AVALOQ is an advantage
• Good communication skills and great flexibility
• Team player with a positive mindset
• Ability to handle a high workload
