Tasks/responsibilities

  • Contribute to the transformation of our legacy applications into a modern cloud-based microservices architecture
  • Apply your abilities in Machine Learning and AI to high-scale financial technology applications
  • Apply your engineer skills in developing state of the art software to automate everything we do in our Corporate Processes
  • Design and build scalable, high-availability mission-critical systems and APIs
  • Solve problems using distributed, asynchronous messaging
  • Work closely with product, Google SRE and infrastructure teams
     

Qualifications/required skills

  • You are enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree programme with a recognized institution focusing on Computer Science or equivalent and can provide an internship agreement, OR have graduated with a Bachelor’s degree or similar for no more than 6 months 
  • Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages including Go or Python
  • Solid understanding of public clouds
  • Background knowledge of HTML5, CSS and Java script, R, Perl is an asset
  • Background in object-oriented programming, including good knowledge in algorithms and data structures
  • Pro-active in learning and highly self-motivated
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Excellent written and spoken English is mandatory. Knowledge of French and/or German is an asset
