Tasks/responsibilities
- Contribute to the transformation of our legacy applications into a modern cloud-based microservices architecture
- Apply your abilities in Machine Learning and AI to high-scale financial technology applications
- Apply your engineer skills in developing state of the art software to automate everything we do in our Corporate Processes
- Design and build scalable, high-availability mission-critical systems and APIs
- Solve problems using distributed, asynchronous messaging
- Work closely with product, Google SRE and infrastructure teams
Qualifications/required skills
- You are enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree programme with a recognized institution focusing on Computer Science or equivalent and can provide an internship agreement, OR have graduated with a Bachelor’s degree or similar for no more than 6 months
- Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages including Go or Python
- Solid understanding of public clouds
- Background knowledge of HTML5, CSS and Java script, R, Perl is an asset
- Background in object-oriented programming, including good knowledge in algorithms and data structures
- Pro-active in learning and highly self-motivated
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Excellent written and spoken English is mandatory. Knowledge of French and/or German is an asset
