Global Asset Services’ main objective is to run the business with a focus on operational excellence – to provide quality services to our customers globally, and to be flexible and agile to meet requirements in a compliant and risk-based manner. This service includes collecting income and redemption payments as well as set up and processing of corporate actions and tax services.
As an Intern in Corporate Actions Event Set up team, you will support the team on their task of collecting information from market suppliers and set up notifications of upcoming corporate actions voluntary events on domestic and Eurobonds markets.
The most important corporate actions handled by the team are: tender/repurchase offers, exchange offers, conversions and exercise of warrants.
Tasks/Responsibilities
- Take part in activities related to set up of voluntary corporate actions (Equities and Bonds) on domestic and international markets.
- Prepare and notify customers of corporate action events and ensure that notifications are accurate and sent on time.
- Assist the team during peeks and support on other projects and assignments
- Handling of customer inquiries
Qualifications/required skills
- Currently enrolled in a Finance related university degree or similar OR you have graduated from a first cycle degree for less than 6 months
- Knowledge of financial instruments and corporate actions event is an asset
- Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team
- Proactivity and ability to manage several tasks in parallel
- Good analytic and organisation skills
- Proficiency in written and spoken English
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
