Junior Portfolio Analyst

As integral part of the Investment Management team the Junior Portfolio Analyst will be responsible for:

• Assisting in researching and analysing investment products and finding solutions

• Assist the team in analysing the daily cash flow

• Respecting all investment policies, guidelines and investment procedures and updating such policies

• Produce client specific reports on a daily, weekly, monthly and yearly basis

• Supporting managers in monitoring managed accounts

• Gather data on investments and do market research

• Assure managed accounts are respecting contractually agreed target allocation, propose adjustments if necessary

• First insight into creating trade recommendations

• Make reconciliation in different systems using talor-made client management software

• Prepare and participate at audits

Expected Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master degree in a Finance-related subject like Accounting, Audit, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics.

• Used to integrate easily in a team but also able to work individually

• Good understanding of investment products (funds, equities, options, bonds)

• A first working experience in a financial company (bank, asset management company,…)

• Very good communication skills (verbally and written) in English (+ French or German)

• General understanding of economic correlations and portfolio management

• Strong analytical skill and figure-oriented

• Problemsolver and hands-on mentality who likes to take the ownership for projects

• Good knowledge of MS Office and tools like Bloomberg, Thomson Reuters etc.
