Additional responsibilities to these of a Junior Risk Officer will be:

Control and further develop reports created by Junior Risk Officers

Control Basel III liquidity & funding risk framework (e.g.: Liquidity Coverage Ratio (LCR), Net Stable Funding Ratio (NSFR), intraday liquidity monitoring)

Communicate with Senior Management on errors and present reports to Management

Participate at the implementation of Basel II/III credit risk standards; ICAAP and stress testing methods

Development of risk policies and update procedures.

Detect and evaluate market and credit risks
-
Identify possible risks in practices, procedures and structures
-
Provide training to Junior Risk Officers and trainees.

Identify best practices for monitoring risk systems

Promoting an appropriate risk culture within the company and the different departments
Profile of a Senior Risk Officer in Luxembourg:
-
Bachelor or Master Degree in Accountancy, Audit, Economics or another Finance-related Major.

2 to 4 years work experience (market, fund and / or credit risk) in banking, fund, insurance or asset management industry.

Solid understanding of CRD IV and Basel II-III requirements.

Strong Excel (and Access) skills and be able to understand und create macros if necessary.

Good understanding of Luxembourg’s regulatory environment.

Very good communication skills in English, French and or German (as a strong asset).

Proactive, willingness to learn, team player and able to handle with a challenging environment.
